Draft Assessment: Stephanie G

Stephanie admits that she’s outspoken, which could be a red flag. However, if her outspokenness and “sassy attitude” is similar to Sandra Diaz-Twine’s, the only two-time winner in Survivor history, then Stephanie might just endear herself to her tribemates and do all right. At the very least, Stephanie seems to be a Survivor superfan. She not only compares herself to self-proclaimed Queen Sandra, she also mentions that she will hunt for idols like Survivor: Cagayan winner Tony Vlachos, dominate challenges like Survivor: Borneo runner-up Kelly Wiglesworth, and be a badass like Brenda Lowe (sixth place finisher, Survivor: Caramoan). Those are some great comps, and they show that she knows her Survivor history, which may help her in this particular season. She’s also a self-proclaimed tomboy, which could help her connect with the guys on her tribe.

Bottom line: If Stephanie makes the merge, she will probably be one of the best physical competitors and will win some challenge points in FSG. She also has Sole Survivor upside if she lives up to her claim that she’ll play like Tony and Sandra. However, will she be too much of a threat? And what if that sassy attitude gets her in trouble?
